The works on this cassette were composed after an invitation from Anthony M. King to participate in the cassette revival series on his Banned Production label. A USB turntable - both the apparatus itself and the records placed upon it - were the main sound sources in addition to digital / computer tone generators.
These pieces mark a shift away from the chaos of the previous few TBWB releases of 2007-2010, and towards a more - relatively speaking - contemplative approach favoring long bell or 'ping' tones and carefully tamed electronic disruptions. An alternately unsettling and pleasurable feeling of intimacy pervades in this release, and perhaps little more needs to be 'given away' about its contents if that feeling is to be preserved and individualized for each listener.
Pro-duplicated tape and foldout j-card; cassette's otherwise blank surface labels come signed and designed by TBWB. Total running time about 23 minutes.
